Nature...Gone Vintage!

Sorry I haven't been posting lately.  I was having technical difficulty.  My internet was not working due to some towers being down so I could not get any data on my air card.  Oh well, it seems to be working after being down for several frustrating days!!  Now I can get back in the swing of things.

This is my version of a card I have seen on other demonstrator websites.  I believe it was made an a Stampin' Up! event like regionals or leadership.  Hope you like it!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Nature Walk, Sincere Salutations, French Foliage
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler
Ink:  Early Espresso
Tools:  Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Color Spritzer
Embellishments:  Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Basic Rhinestones, Very Vanilla Smooch Spritz

I found this awesome idea in blogland this week and wanted to give it a try.  You can find the directions at this great blog here.  I typed up my own label and printed it out on my printer.  Next, I matted it onto Pretty in Pink cardstock.  I also punched out a chick from the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set and tied in onto the top.  I sponged the edges in crumb cake.

I made a couple of these for my sister and her family and my brother-in-law and his family.  Enjoy!

Emma wanted to pose for this pic!

The S'meeps consist of a package of Peeps, a sleeve of graham crackers, and a couple of Hershey candy bars. I think it is a very neat idea!

This was such a fun and easy project!  Stop back again for another fun treat!

Lonely Egg!

This is a little 3 x 3 card I made using the Nature Walk set.  I colored a single egg from the stamp set with the Baja Breeze Stampin' Write marker.  The "nest" is made from little strips of linen thread I cut up and glued to the cardstock.  It is simple card, but I like it.  Hope you enjoy it!

I tried to get a little closer, but my camera kept telling me "Too Close to Focus" Arggh!

I didn't put a sentiment on it because I felt it could be an anytime card, spring, birthday, etc.  Even though eggs are popular this time of year, nature is always in style!  Just my thought!

Happy Birthday

Here is a simple yet pretty birthday card that I made recently.  I wanted the flower to stand out as the focus of this card.  The size of this card is one of my favorite, 4x4.  I think the So Saffron contrasts nicely with the Soft Suede cardstock.  Enjoy!

Make & Take #2

This is the second Make 'n Take I did for my workshop with Beth.  Everyone loved how simple yet elegant it was.  This card was inspired by something I saw on Stampin Connection.  I apologize, but I do not remember who was the creator of this card.  Stampin Connection is a demo only website.  It can only be accessed by Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  This website is loaded with samples, tips, tricks, etc.  Hope you enjoy this card!

The card below is the "Stepped Up" version.  I used some ribbon and a border punch to add a little bit of sophistication to this card.

Please stop back again for another project.

Make 'n Take #1

This was one of the make 'n takes for my workshop this past weekend.  My hostess, Beth, and her guests loved it!  Some of her guests never stamped before and they made this simple card like they had been stamping forever!!  They couldn't believe how easy it was.  I told them "You can't screw it up!"  I love the natural, simple look of this card.  Enjoy!

Below is my first draft that I came up with.  Then I got the idea to use the Top Note Die with the BigShot for added interest.

My second make 'n take will be my next post, so stop back soon so you can see it.
