For My Mom

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.  My day was so nice!  I was served breakfast in bed (McDonald's breakfast sandwich, my favorite!) and in the afternoon we all went to my sister's house for dinner.  We all brought a side dish and dessert and got Kentucky Fried Chicken for the main entree, sweet!  I haven't had KFC in ages, it was such a nice change.  This is the card I made for my mother and sister for Mother's Day.  I wanted to try something a little different so I hope you like it!

I like the Victorian twist on this card.  The floral paper is non-SU! but everything else is SU!  I stamped the birdcage from Nature Walk on Very Vanilla cardstock first, but thought it looked a little richer on the floral paper.  I would have liked a bit less pattern on the birdcage, but I didn't have any other paper that coordinated.

Thanks for stopping by, come back again soon for another project!

Happy Stamping!
