With Sympathy

I never have any sympathy cards on hand because well frankly, I don't want to have to give them out.  Giving them out means someone is going through unbearable pain and that just breaks my heart.  Therefore, I don't really have a "stash" of sympathy cards on hand so I usually have to make them on the spot, quickly.  This card was no exception.  I have not been able to stamp very much lately but I did get to go down in my stamp room and make this card yesterday.  I have to say, I like how it turned out and will probably use it again very soon, except I will change the sentiment.  Hope you like it!

The inside of this card is very simple.  I just cut out a flower from the paper I used on the front of the card and glued it to the Very Vanilla cardstock on the inside.  I was just going to leave it plain, but I thought why not give this a try.  I also sponged the cardstock with Early Espresso.

This card is one of my favorite sizes 4x4 which I seem to make quite often.  All supplies are Stampin' Up! except for the floral paper.  I had that in my stash from my pre-SU! days.  I like the soft, vintage feel of the paper.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Non SU! Floral Paper
Tools: Big Shot, Bigz Lattice Die
Embellishments:  Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Crochet Trim, Antique Brads, Linen Thread

The card is beautiful....but the use of the floral 'frog'.....BRILLIANT!! I have never seen one used that way. Once upon a time I had several of them that were my mom's...but alas....gave them away. Thanks for sharing!
