Wish Big

This is a birthday card I made for my little niece.  She turned "3" recently and I thought this would be a fun card for her.  I used the Ice Cream Parlor paper from Sale-a-bration.  I think it is so cheerful.  The pinwheels were made from a die from My Cat's Pajamas that I picked up recently.  I love it because it shows of both sides of the Designer Series Paper.  It is a fun little embellishment!  The sentiment is from the Pennant Parade stamp set that is coming out in the new Idea Book and Catalog July 1st!  Hope you like it!

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Pennant Parade
Ink:  Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Very Vanilla, Ice Cream Parlor, Old Olive DSP (Brights Collection)
Tools:  Big Shot, Pinwheel Die (The Cat's Pajamas), Medium Jewel Tag Punch, Corner Rounder
Accessories:  Brads, Twine, Old Olive Ribbon

Star Spangled Decor

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I just wanted to show you one of the pieces that I made for the summer months.  Being that the Fourth of July is right around the corner, I thought it would be fitting to share this with you.  My friend Karen helped make the flags.  She is super talented!  My husband also helped attach all of the base pieces together and helped me rough it up a bit!  I have seen these patriotic centerpieces around in country shops and thought why not try to make one ourselves.  So that is what we did.  Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by, come back again for another fun project!

Father's Day Tag

Hope all of the men in your lives had a wonderful Father's Day!  This is a tag I made for a Father's Day gift.  Hope you like it!

The plane was stamped onto the packaging paper you get when you buy something fragile in a store and they wrap it up for you.  Not sure what they call it but I just call it packaging paper.  It is very thin so I stamped the plane image on a torn piece of that paper and spritzed it with a Stampin' Write marker in Basic Black. Next, I crumpled it up and flattened it out to give it an aged look.  I also used a small circle torn from the same paper and spritzed it before adhering it to the Basic Black star with a brad.  The banner was made by simply cutting the end of a small strip of Kraft cardstock into a banner with scissors.

Thanks for stopping by, come back soon for another project!

Birthday Card & Tag

This is a tag, card & bag combo I made for our family friend who was turning "1."  He lives out of town and he and his family came in for the weekend to throw him a wonderful first birthday party.  His name is Keaton and he has the most gorgeous blue eyes!  I love that name by the way!  Enjoy!
