Masculine Graduation Card

Hope you had a great week!  Can't believe it is July already.  Time is just flying right by....before you know it the kids will be back in school!  Speaking of school with all of the graduation parties going on right now I thought I would share with you one of the cards I made.  This is a perfect sentiment for a graduation but also for any kind of new endeavor such as .....a new job...retirement....or really any type of encouragement.  Hope you like it!

This is another one of my favorite size cards to make, the 4x4 card!  I love the square look and it fits great in an A2 size envelope.  I also used my Color Coach to come up with the color scheme for this card.  I knew I wanted to use the Basic Gray but wasn't sure which color I wanted to use to contrast the gray but my Color Coach saved the day!  I went with Cajun Craze and I love the way it turned out. This is a simple and clean card with NO SPONGING!  I stamped the image in Basic Gray ink on the cardstock and then stamped the image again in Cajun Craze on a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock and cut out the arrow and popped it up with dimensionals.  It added an extra pop of color and dimension.  The silver brads add a cool touch of shine without being too blingy, if that is even a word!
