Another Fall CARDS Challenge Card!

Hello everyone!  I wanted to make another quick card for the Create: Blog!  I used the Cricut Stretch Your Imagination Cartridge to cut out the little leaves.  I also used the Houndstooth Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up!  to add some dimension to the leaves.  Hope you like it!

I also made another card but added a little striped detail above the sentiment.  Take a look!

Papertrey Ink: Make It Monday

Hello friends!  I was making some cards today and decided to play along with Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday Challenge Layered Mats & Frames.  This card literally took me five minutes to make and I love the way it turned out!  Hope you like it.
I used the Loves Lives Here Die inside of the Mat Stack #2 Die.  I used the Linen Impression plate to emboss the Melon Berry die cut and used the 1.75 Limitless Layers circle die to punch out the polka dot paper behind the butterfly cut out.  It fit perfectly!  The patterned paper is from K & Co.  The ink used was Chocolate Chip and the sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #3.  The button is also from Papertrey Ink's Spring Mix Vintage collection and the linen thread is from SU!

Sympathy Card

Hello friends!  I wanted to share with you a sympathy card I made recently for some friends of mine.  It is very simple and understated.  I wanted the colors of the papers to be the focal point of the card so I used some SEI paper from the Moravia collection.  The colors are very rustic and fall like so I thought it would be perfect for this card.  Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you come back soon for another project!

Make A Wish

Hello everyone!  Just wanted to pop in for a quick post to show you a birthday card that I recently made.  I used a line of paper from My Mind's Eye called Fly A Kite from the Lime Twist collection.  So darn cute!  I played around with the shape of the card a little bit, hope you like it!

The front of the card is curved a little so when it is closed it reveals the polka dots on the inside of the card.  The tag die on the front is the Tag Sale #3 Die from Papertrey Ink along with the sentiment from Think Big Favorites #1.  The ink used was Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up! and I also used a Gelly Roll pen to make the faux stitching along the edges.  The ribbon is from Stampin' Up!

Embellish Magazine's Circles Color Trends Challenge

Hello everyone!  Thought I would play along with the Embellish Magazine's Circle Color Trends Challenge.  Here is the inspiration photo:
This is the card I came up with.  I thought what better way to start off a card then to make it in the shape of a circle!  I used felt and cut all of the circles out with Spellbinders Standard Circles Large.  I used Papertrey Ink's Melon Berry felt along with some other felt I had in my stash.  The white & brown buttons are from my stash but the Melon Berry button is from Papertrey Ink.  The baker's twine is from Martha Stewart.  Hope you like it!
