Leaves Colors Embellish Challenge

Hello everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I decided to play along with the Embellish Magazine Blog: Leaves Color Trends Challenge.  The inspiration for the project is below.
This is the card I came up with.  It is very simple and clean.  I cut the leaf out of felt by hand (yes, that is supposed to be a leaf, he he) and attached it to the button twine with a tiny safety pin.  Hope you like it!

First, I must apologize for the lighting on this card.  I was running out of natural light so I turned on my kitchen light and it looks a little dark.  On the card above I used Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke and Elegant Eggplant ink from SU!  The stamp set is Day Of Gratitude from SU!  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Little Labels set.  The cardstock is Crumb Cake from SU!

Here is another version of the card above.  I showcased the sentiment differently on this card.  I like the matted effect and the way it looks anchored with the button twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great week!

Love how you stamped directly on the crumb cake cardstock.
