Create Blog Challenge: Easter Cards

Hello Peeps!  It has been a while.  I am just popping in today to play along with the Easter Card challenge over at the Create Blog.  This card is on that I actually made in my early blogging days, ya know, before I had any idea how to take a photograph of my cards!!  You can see the pathetic picture of the card here.  This is the same card, just photographed a little differently.  It is amazing what a difference a year makes.  Just think, next year I will come back again with more wisdom behind me for a third picture, just kidding!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

An Egg-stra Special Tag!

Hello everyone!  As promised in my last post I am going to share with you the second project that we made in our M.O.P.S. meeting this past Tuesday.  It is a simple Easter tag made with some Stampin' Up' Stamps, PTI cardstock and twine, oh and a little bling of course!

The inspiration for this tag came from a card I made last year.  You can see it here.  The flower was punched out of Baja Breeze cardstock from SU! and the base was die cut with Rustic Cream cardstock from that stuff!  Hope you like it!

M.O.P.S. Night Craft

Hello everyone!  Hope life is treating you all well.  This past Tuesday was our M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) meeting in North East.  I was in charge of the craft for our meeting and this is one of the projects I came up with.

I die cut some of the pieces and pre-stamped the little banners in the interest of saving time.  I had a few different stations set up for die-cutting, stamping, assembling so it went pretty smoothly.  I assembled 20 kits but there ended up being only 11 moms that night.  I had a few sentiments available for stamping so the moms could customize their cards for their needs.

Here are the assembled kits ready to go.
Almost all of the supplies used were from Papertrey Ink.  The dotted stamp was from Glitz and the buttons and cardstock/envelopes were from Hobby Lobby.  I used Pure Poppy and Spring Moss ink from PTI along with the Pure Poppy felt, too cute!

I think that the moms had a lot of fun with the projects.  Some of them said they were not very crafty and I told them you will be surprised.  It is not that hard and you can't screw it up!  They were pleasantly surprised and had a lot of fun making the projects!  One of the moms said that I will have some very angry husbands when their wives get home because now they are going to want to buy all of the little gadgets and supplies.  Been there, done that!!!  Just kidding, my husband has always been very supportive of my addiction hobby!

Stop back later for another quick and fun project from our M.O.P.S. meeting.  Little is egg-stra special!!  So lame, I know, tee hee!
