Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #71: Bordered Sentiments

Welcome back! Today I have another card for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge over at Nichole Heady's blog.  This was sort of fun to make because I used some old encyclopedia paper from a book I bought at a barn sale.  I die cut it with the Turning A New Leaf die and trimmed the leaves from the stem.  Next, I adhered them to random leaves on the card.  Since this was going to be a masculine card, I skipped any bling but added some interest with the leaves.  Hope you like it!

This is a fun technique once you get the hang of it.  I definitely recommend stamping over a mouse pad or something with a little give.  I originally stamped it over the embossing pad for my Cuttlebug but it didn't seem to work as well.
