Quick Birthday Card

Hello everyone!  I was at Wal-Mart not long ago and I took a quick look at the craft isle.  They have some very cute paper, stickers, chipboard and this neat tape.  It is not quite washi tape since you can't see through it but it was really cheap and I thought I would pick one up in every color.  There were four to be exact.  They were from Studio G.  I made a quick card using the tape and a die cut circle from the Trendy Treetops Die from Papertrey Ink.  I added a little button twine and popped it up on dimensional adhesive to make a little embellishment.  I like the clean look of this card.  I added faux stitching to the card with a gel pen to finish it off.  Hope you like it.

Button Card

Hello everyone!  I wanted to share a card I made recently.  The stamp set I used was Button Boutique from Papertrey Ink.  I recently purchased it and had an opportunity to play with it and this is what I came up with.

I used Melon Berry and Spring Moss felt to die cut some of the buttons and added real buttons on top.  I used Classic Kraft ink.  I like the way it turned out, there will be many uses for this stamp set.  I love all of the vintage images in the set.

The Birthday Wheels Are Spinning...so to speak!

Hello everyone.  I wanted to share with you a card I made for the Stamp It! Cards Birthday Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.  The challenge was to create a birthday card where stamping is the primary technique.  This is the card I came up with:
This card is an adorable size too!  It is 4-1/2" x 3-1/4".  It fits perfectly into some new envelopes I just ordered from Papertrey Ink.  For a little added dimension I stamped the banner in Ocean Tides ink onto the card front and again on a scrap piece of cardstock.  I then hand cut and mounted it on dimensional adhesive directly over the stamped image.  Before I mounted it though, I tied a bit of button twine around it for some added texture.    I also stamped one of the hearts from the My Mind's Eye stamp set on scrap paper, trimmed it out and adhered it with dimensional adhesive.
Here is a look at the inside of the card.  I figured I had the stamps and ink already out, why not add a little fun detail to the inside!
The banners were made from a new set I just bought from My Mind's Eye.  The set is called Lost and Found Two Breeze "Dream" Collection.  Super fun set!  This set included a bicycle but it was a bit small for the card front so I used another little set from We R Memory Keepers called "Cruising"  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Happy Hexagon set.  I think that is going to be a well loved sentiment since it is tiny and in two pieces so you can stamp it however you want.

This card came together rather quickly and I love the results.  I hope you like it too.!
