Hello everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous week. My mother and I took my little kiddo to the movies today for a fun "Girls Day!" We went to see The Odd Life Of Timothy Green. I have to say I loved that movie!! My mom and daughter loved it too. It was so sweet. We did a little shopping afterwards and then went to an early dinner at Olive Garden, what a treat!! When we got home I had a little time to myself in my craft room and whipped up a little card to play along with a challenge that had me "Itching to get Stitching' so to speak!! Actually, once you read a little further, you'll understand what I mean.
The card I am sharing today was inspired by Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday Challenge over at Nichole Heady's blog. Once I saw the video, I was so excited to give this technique a try but just haven't found the time until today. I struggled at first to find a stamp that I could stitch around and then I decided to use one of the chevron images from PTI's Background Basics and stitch directly on the stripe. I dug out some of my embroidery floss from my punchneedle stash and tried to match them up as closely as I could. Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by!
I am also entering this card into the Repetition Challenge In The Moxie Fab World. There is still time to play along so stop by and check it out!
