Heart"Felt" Anniversary Card

Hello everyone!  Today's card is one that I made with a color combo I absolutely LOVE!  These rich colors of blue, mustard and grey are the star of the show in this card.  I used oodles of crafty goodness in this card and it was so much fun to make.  Hope you like it!

This card design was inspired by this card here.  I think shipping tags are going to be my new best friend!!

The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Hattie Paper 6x6 paper pad.  LOVE THIS COLLECTION!!

Happy Birthday To My Hubby!

Hello everyone!  Just wanted to share with you a card I made for my husband's birthday today.  He got a new toy for his birthday, a crossbow.  He has been so excited waiting for it to come and it finally arrived yesterday.  Now he just has to get it all set up and sighted in so he will be ready for the first day of archery.

Anyway, here is the card I whipped up for him.  I used the Silhouette and a new punch from Epiphany Crafts that you can make your own epoxy embellishments.  I just bought it today at Michael's and thought I would try it out.  It think it is awesome that you can make your own embellishments to match your project exactly!
I made the circle with arrow on my Silhouette.  You can find the file here.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

First Day Of School!

Hello!  Just popping in today to share some pics of my little munchkin on her first day of 1st Grade!  I cannot believe how the time flies!
The printable is from here.

My little peanut did very well this morning, I on the other hand was a bit nervous for her.  I remember the first day of school and the fear of the unknown.  It didn't seem to phase her at all, she just didn't want to get up early.  I guess if that is the worst of it, that is okay with me.

I can't wait for Emma to come home today so I can find out all about her day!

Thanks for stopping by!

Back To School Party

Hello everyone!  I just wanted to share with you some pictures from a party I had for my daughter.  She is starting back to school on Tuesday and I thought it would be fun to throw a little back to school party for her and some of her littlest North East Grape Picker friends.  Yeah, we live in North East, PA and since we are in the heart of wine country here in Pennsylvania, our kids are affectionately known as Grape Pickers.  Anyway, it was kind of last minute, my daughter and I were sitting at Moe's last Sunday, one of our favorite spots, and I asked her if she would like to get a few of her classmates together for a back to school bash and she of course said "YES!!"

This was of course all I needed to get me into the party mode.  I hit Target and Walgreen's since their back to school supplies were such a great price, I couldn't pass them up for goodie bags!  I also made a stop at Hobby Lobby for their fantastic party bags, very big and sturdy.  Next up, the Internet!!  I found a fabulous free printable here.  I just printed, cut and assembled some goodies and voila!  Being such short notice, I didn't send out invites, I just called the moms and invited their daughters so that was one less step.  I also tried my hand at making tissue paper pom poms.  How fun and easy, I of course watched a YouTube video to learn how to do it.  Very inexpensive and a huge impact!

The girls has a blast! They had pizza and little snacks, played some games, played on the swing set and danced to loud music.  All said an done, I think it was a success.

A glimpse of what was inside of the goodie bags!

I also took a picture of each girl holding a sign showing what grade they will be in this year.  I had them printed out and now I just have to deliver them.  What a sweet keepsake from the party!  The signs were from here.

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Thank you so much for stopping by:)
