Happy Halloween Ween!

Just one ween!  I have been saying that since I saw the episode of The Neighbors last week.  Too funny!  I wanted to share my one and only card I made for Halloween this year.  I had these new brads I bought from Hobby Lobby a while back and wanted to use them on some Halloween projects but have not had the time to create lately.  I whipped up this card for Emma's teacher just for some fun and I like the way it turned out.  Pretty basic black and white but I like the clean look of it.  Hope you like it!

The spider web on the front was made using my Silhouette and the spider web border on the inside was a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment was made from a Studio G stamp from Wal-Mart I bought in the dollar bin.  It was just the right size and I also used the stamp on the tag for Emma's school treats.  I got all of Emma's treats packaged up while she was in school today....nothing like the last minute.  The bags are filled with candy, a Halloween pencil and a McDonald's coupon for a free treat.  I think the little goblins are going to like them!
Hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween.

Just Beachy

Hello everyone! I almost forgot to post this project.  I know it is fall now but I thought better late than never.  This is a project I made as a little thank you gift for a friend of mine.  She was Emma's babysitter this summer two days a week and they had a lot of fun together.  My friend LOVES beach glass, as does my little sweetie.  They went to the beach a few times here in North East located on Lake Erie and found lots of beach glass. Emma could literally spend hours combing through the sand to find her little treasures.  Here is what I came up with, hope you like it!

I thought this would be a nice keepsake of their time together this summer.

Stars Color Trends Challenge: Embellishmagazine.com

Hello everyone! Thought I would play along with the challenge over at Embellish Magazine's Blog.  Hope you like it!
Here is the inspiration photo below.

A look at the inside.

I used my Silhouette to cut the stars out of cardstock.  The card fits into a letter size envelope which I also added some embellishments.  I figured I would be hand-delivering this card so why not dress up the envie!
