Happy Halloween Ween!

Just one ween!  I have been saying that since I saw the episode of The Neighbors last week.  Too funny!  I wanted to share my one and only card I made for Halloween this year.  I had these new brads I bought from Hobby Lobby a while back and wanted to use them on some Halloween projects but have not had the time to create lately.  I whipped up this card for Emma's teacher just for some fun and I like the way it turned out.  Pretty basic black and white but I like the clean look of it.  Hope you like it!

The spider web on the front was made using my Silhouette and the spider web border on the inside was a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment was made from a Studio G stamp from Wal-Mart I bought in the dollar bin.  It was just the right size and I also used the stamp on the tag for Emma's school treats.  I got all of Emma's treats packaged up while she was in school today....nothing like the last minute.  The bags are filled with candy, a Halloween pencil and a McDonald's coupon for a free treat.  I think the little goblins are going to like them!
Hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween.

Thanks for stopping by!

Amy! Your stuff is just too cute! I love the gift bags...and even though I hate spiders, the card is great!

By the way, what is a "brad"? (can you tell I don't do this stuff?)

Thank you Melissa! You are too sweet! A brad is an embellishment that has a pronged back that pokes through the paper and then splits open and flattens out. It is kind of like an earring for paper!

I love the black and white colour scheme and the bling on the web. My favourite part are the webs inside.
Have an awesome Halloween :)

What a cute card. It is so striking in the black and white! It really makes all the cuts outs in black stand out. That little spider with googly eyes is cute. he was a great addition!
