Hello everyone! When I saw the challenge for this month's Papertrey Ink December Blog Hop Challenge I knew exactly what I wanted to do. The challenge is to make a project using the color white. Since I really didn't have any white cardstock on hand, I had to use Rustic Cream. Close enough to white, right? Anyhoo, I wanted to emboss on the cardstock with white and it looked nice, but I could hardly see it. The look I was going for was not turning out so great until......I added a crocheted doily under the snowflake and used some tea dye to antique the edges and make the embossing really pop. I embossed the snowflakes from the Snowflake Medley set on the card and also on the large die cut snowflake...Lovin' it!! Then I covered a couple little die cut snowflakes in Mica Flakes...I have had this stored in a box for over a year...HELLO! What was I thinking? I love this stuff! Hope you like this card even though it is not exactly white.
