Puppy Themed Birthday Party

Hello everyone!  How have you all been?  I wanted to share with you my daughter's seventh birthday party.  We did something a little extra special this year and let her have a party with the girls from her class at Chuck E. Cheese's.  That was a blast and quite nice on my end if I do say so myself.  All the set up and clean up was done for us and we just got to drive home.  That was awesome in my book!!  However, we did have a family birthday party at home and the theme that Emma picked this year was a "Puppy Theme."  I wasn't sure what the final result was going to look like, but I thought I would give it a whirl.
I started out with the invitation that I made in Photoshop Elements.  This was my first attempt at making invitations and I was pretty happy with the way they turned out.  I rounded the corners with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper and adhered the invitation to black cardstock.  It took me a while and a couple YouTube videos, but if finally finished them! Yay, Baby steps!!

The dog bones hanging from the light fixture were made using my Silhouette Cameo.  Also the bones used for the cupcake toppers were as well.  I put the snacks in dog bowls from the Dollar Tree.  I thought they went along with the color scheme and were a fun little touch.

These were the "Doggie Bags" I made for the little ones at the party.  We had about seven kids at the family party so I wanted to give them a little treat!

The adorable "Doggie Bag" printable was found here.  I added some dog bones and paws cut from my Silhouette Cameo to the front of the bag.

Contents of Doggie Bags included a stuffed dog, dog bone shaped crayons, dog bone water bottle and headband with puppy ears.

I also made a thank you card in Photoshop Elements for Emma to send to the party guests.

The Birthday Girl!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this post.  This party was a lot of fun for me to put together and I think Emma really enjoyed all of the little touches.  She especially liked the Doggie Bags!
