I packaged the card in a glassine bag topped with a doily and tag. I love packaging cards like that since I feel they are a gift in itself. The tag was tea stained and topped with an apple die cut from the Teacher's Apple die.
I got the idea for the little garland from a card that Melissa Phillips made some time ago. I can't seem to find it otherwise I would link you to it. The paper I picked for the card is from Basic Grey's Oxford Collection. I also used Classic Kraft and Vintage Cream from PTI. The stamp sets I used are PTI's Teach & Inspire and Heart-2-Heart #3.
The "Thank You" sentiment was stamped onto a banner from the Bountiful Banners die. The "ABC" was die cut using the Block Alphabet die and adhered to tags die cut from the Tiny Tags die.
I love this saying! It is just perfect for teachers of young children......precious! I stamped the Library Card onto Vintage Cream cardstock. I also stamped the tree image from the Teach & Inspire set.
I tucked a gift card behind the library card inside the pocket. I die cut the pocket from the Library Pocket Die from PTI and stamped the lined image from the Teach & Inspire set across the pocket. I also stitched around the edges of the paper. I love how this turned out. I played around with layers and pattern paper for lots of texture. Emma was so excited to take this little gift to her teacher.
I hope you enjoyed stopping by today!
