Sympathy Card

Hello friends!  I am here to share a sympathy card I made for a friend.  These aren't the ones I like to make but it is a necessary evil so to speak.  This card could easily be changed up for a different occasion by changing the sentiment.  I used the Birds & Blooms set from Papertrey Ink.  I have to say it was a little intimidating lining up all of the parts, I am still not sure I did it right!  Anyway, I hope you like it.
I stamped a little bit on the envelope to coordinate.

A close up of the butterfly.  I die cut the butterfly out of Sweet Blush polka dot pattern paper and then again with vellum.  I adhered the vellum butterfly to the Sweet Blush with a touch of Glossy Accents.  I also adhered a couple of pink sequins to the one side of the butterfly for a little dimension.

I also stamped a little on the flap of the envelope to add a little extra touch.

Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Hello friends!  Hope you are all doing something wonderful with your loved ones today.  I am just dropping in to share the treats I made for Emma's class.  They were rather easy to make and I just used what I had around my craft room.  I had a paper pad from Recollections that was in my stash from last year so I thought why not break into it!!  The little sacks are also from Recollections.  I am in love with the glassine bags and there were 25 in the package, perfect!  That was just enough to cover the class, teacher, aides and bus driver, phew!

The bags are filled with Skittles and tiny Kit Kats.  I typed up the little labels on my computer and punched them out with my heart punch, so simple.  The little banners took the longest since I had to trim the banner end, but that really was no biggie.

Below is a close up of the tag.  I used another heart punched from vellum just to soften the stark white of the cardstock.  The little heart is from a dingbat, at least I think that is what it is called.  I can't remember the name of the font that it is from, but I colored it pink right before I printed it so it looks like a little kid scribbled it....so cute!

That is it for me today, thank you for stopping by!
