With Sympathy

Hello friends.  Today I am sharing a sympathy card I recently made.  Unfortunately I have made three sympathy cards lately.  This card didn't turn out exactly like I had planned, but I ended up happy with the result.

Have a great week!!  Thank you for stopping by!

Home Sweet Home.....

Hello friends!  Today I am sharing a little something I made for my friend.  She and her family moved into a new house a while ago and I got them a little something for a housewarming.  Better late than never, right?  I ordered an address stamp similar to this one.  Today I finally got around to creating a little gift bag to package the little thing up!  Hope you like it.

I was so tickled with how it turned out!  At first I wasn't sure if I liked it but then  I kept adding little layers and now I am very pleased with the result.

Thanks for stopping by!

Make It Monday #155: Create Your Own Confetti with Papertrey Ink Dies

Hello friends!  Today I played along with the Make It Monday challenge on Nichole Heady's blog.  Danielle Flanders showed how to create confetti using Papertrey Ink dies and I thought it would be perfect for the card I needed to make.  My original thought was to make a wedding card with the XOXO border die, but when I looked, I didn't have one!  Oops, my bad!  Anyway, I decided to use the Superstar Border die and use the positive and negative parts.  Hope you like it!

I used the Headline Alphabet die to make the initials of the bride and groom.  I also sprinkled some teeny tiny stars for a little pizzazz!  When I say teeny, I mean teeny!!  Those little guys were hard to pick up let alone glue down!  Luckily I used my little thing-a-ma-bob, actually it is called the QuickStik from Lifestyle Crafts.  But it was still hard!!

I liked the look of some of the sparkly stars underneath the vellum.  It added a little interest for me.

That's all for now, thank you for stopping by!
