Teacher Appreciation {Coffee Cozy}

Hello friends!  I am back again today to share another gift for Teacher Appreciation.  This is a gift card wrapped in a coffee cozy! I thought it would be a nice treat to give Emma's teacher a gift card to Panera Bread along with a coffee cozy she could use afterwards.
I decided to try and make a little chalk board themed tag....it seems to be the "in" thing right now and how fitting for a teacher gift, am I right?  I added a little vellum tag overlay embossed with an adorable apple from PTI's Teach & Inspire stamp set.  The little ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and looks like a ruler.  You sense I am going with a theme right?  I just couldn't help myself!  Anyhoo, I wanted to add a little red apple to the chalkboard tag, but all of my apple dies were too large and I didn't have anything tiny.  Oh well, it turned out pretty nice anyway.
I messed up on the ribbon when I punched a hole through the cardstock, but it was getting late last night and I figured it wasn't that big of a deal.  Don't look to closely ha ha!
This is the coffee cozy....Emma was so thrilled with it.  I was going to sew a button on the top of the apple but decided against it since I was afraid I would ruin it if I messed up.
This little tag on the side just totally makes it!  I love the pop of color.  I hope that Papertrey Ink comes out with some new additions to the Coffee Cozy Die line *hint, hint, wink, wink!*  A girl can dream, right?
As a final ending to Teacher Appreciation Week I made a little card for Emma to write a personal note to her teacher.  As always, she did not disappoint!  She wrote the cutest little note inside and had me in stitches.  I think her teacher will really enjoy reading the card, I know that I did.
This wraps it up for me today.  Thank you for stopping by and visiting!

Teacher Appreciation

Hello friends!  As many of you may already know, this week is Teacher Appreciation Week.  I did a couple of little quick gifts for Emma's teacher earlier this week.  I didn't snap any pictures except one really quick on my iPhone before Emma left for school yesterday morning.  I posted it on instagram.  However, this morning before Emma rushed out the door I managed to snap a few pictures of today's teacher treat.  It is a hand soap from Bath & Body Works that I wrapped up in a kraft bag with a cute little topper.  Hope you like it!

 I am absolutely in LOVE with this little Sketched Stars die from Papertrey Ink.  I used the Gold Shimmer cardstock from Papertrey Ink to die cut the little stars.  They remind me of when your teacher would correct your papers and give you a gold star!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!  The word "Thanks" is die cut using a die from Paper Smooches.  That is going to become a favorite of mine, I can tell you that right now.
This topper is very similar to the one I posted here.  I am in love with these toppers, mainly because I can't just make a simple tag anymore!!  I feel that making a variety of different shaped tags and embellishments with all sorts of different textures adds to the presentation.  It really dresses things up without a ton of extra effort.  It is also a great way to use up bits and pieces of your stash!!

It is not too late to show your hard working teacher a little appreciation for all of their hard work.  There are so many cute, fast and inexpensive ways to show them that you care.  Here are a couple of ideas that I picked for this week:
